Where Financial Clarity
Begins

3mmonitor Mark was founded with a straightforward purpose: to help people in Singapore understand their finances without jargon, pressure, or unrealistic promises.

— Our Story

A Practice Built on Patient Learning

3mmonitor Mark started in 2016, when its founders — educators with backgrounds in economics and adult learning — noticed a gap between the wealth of financial information available online and the practical ability of most people to make sense of it for their own lives.

Too much financial content in Singapore either assumes a level of existing knowledge that most people don't have, or tries to sell something. Neither approach builds genuine understanding. 3mmonitor Mark was set up to offer something different: education that moves at the learner's pace, using real Singapore context, with no product to sell.

Over the years the programmes have been refined through direct feedback from cohort participants. The curriculum has become more focused, the discussion formats more effective, and the planning tools more useful. What has remained unchanged is the core approach — structured, honest, and free from pressure.

Today, 3mmonitor Mark operates out of Anson Road in Singapore's central business district, running small cohorts throughout the year and offering private planning sessions alongside its group programmes.

Our Mission

To equip people in Singapore with the knowledge, habits, and frameworks to navigate their financial lives with clarity — regardless of where they are starting from.

Our Vision

A Singapore where sound financial thinking is accessible to everyone — not reserved for those already well-off, or those with a finance background.

What Guides Us

  • Honesty about what education can and cannot do
  • Small cohorts where participants can ask real questions
  • Singapore-specific content, not adapted international templates
  • No product sales, no commissions, no conflicts of interest

— How We Work

Standards We Hold Ourselves To

These aren't marketing claims — they are the operating principles that shape how every programme and interaction is conducted.

No Conflicts of Interest

3mmonitor Mark sells education, not financial products. Our facilitators receive no commissions and have no incentive to recommend any product, platform, or investment provider.

Participant Privacy

Financial situations shared in group sessions or private consultations are treated with complete confidentiality. Participant data is not used for marketing or sold to third parties.

Curriculum Rigour

Programmes are reviewed and updated at least once a year to reflect changes in Singapore's regulatory environment, CPF rules, and financial product landscape.

Small Cohort Sizes

Sessions are capped at 12 participants to maintain meaningful discussion and allow each person to ask questions without feeling lost in a crowd.

Clear Scope of Practice

We are educators, not financial advisers. Every programme is clear about what financial education provides and what it doesn't. Participants are always encouraged to seek regulated advice for individual decisions.

Participant Feedback Loop

Every cohort completes a detailed feedback survey. The responses directly shape how programmes are revised, what content is adjusted, and how facilitation can improve.

— Context & Expertise

Financial Education in Singapore's Unique Context

Singapore presents a financial landscape that differs meaningfully from most other markets. The CPF system, MAS-regulated investment products, Singapore Savings Bonds, the SRS scheme, and property financing structures specific to this market all require a grounding that generic financial education content cannot provide. 3mmonitor Mark curricula are built entirely within this context.

For working adults in Singapore — whether newly employed, mid-career, approaching retirement, or managing family finances — the decisions involved are real and consequential. Understanding how much to set aside, how CPF accounts interact, when insurance coverage is appropriate, and how to approach investment accounts requires more than reading articles. It requires structured learning and the ability to ask questions in a low-pressure setting.

3mmonitor Mark's programmes do not position themselves as shortcuts or substitutes for professional advice. They are learning environments where adults at different stages of life can build a foundation that makes those professional conversations more productive and more informed.
